Metrolink to raise fares, add service

The regional rail network will increase fares an average of 7% on July 1. Round-trip service from Riverside to Laguna Niguel will be added, as will four weekend trains between L.A. and Oceanside.

Metrolink is planning a number of service changes in June and July, including a fare increase and additional trains throughout the region, that will affect passengers of the regional rail service.
